Making a Purchase

With our secure and private payment links, you can order any gift online in complete confidence.

Your personal and payment details are kept completely private and never saved. These private details are protected during transmission using SSL encryption (secure link); therefore, keeping all input completely safe.

Our Shopping Basket allows you to check and modify your order before payment and delivery. You can view your order at any time by clicking on the 'Checkout' link located at the top on every page.

When you are satisfied with the contents of your basket, you can click on ‘Checkout’ to finalise your order.

Please ensure your gift message is entered correctly to make your gift extra meaningful.

Delivery

No matter where your destination is in South Africa, we have got you covered. All hampers and gifts are sent via external courier services and are packaged securely, however, if any items are damaged, we will replace them.

As GiftLady works with trusted third-party couriers, factors such as weather conditions, load shedding, traffic disruptions, strikes, and regional accessibility may affect delivery schedules. We will always communicate proactively should any unforeseen delays occur.

Orders paid via EFT services will only be dispatched once the funds have reflected within our account. Please keep this in mind when placing urgent orders.

Flowers: Delivery is included in their price. Same day delivery applies for orders received before 11:00am (SA time), unless otherwise specified by you.

All other products/gifts/hampers: Delivery is not included in their price and is R95 per address.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time on a certain date, as we rely on 3rd party couriers. Even though we always do our best – errors can creep in from time to time.

Once your order has been dispatched an automated email with tracking details will be received.

Please provide the correct contact details for the recipient to ensure the receiver is at the given address.

Deliveries do not take place on Sundays or Public Holidays.

Normal delivery/courier procedure includes calling the recipient before attempting to deliver. If the delivery fails due to recipient being unavailable, re-attempting delivery will only take place the following working day.

In the circumstances where the courier company cannot deliver to hospitals, emergency units, hospices or hotels etc, the order will be delivered to the reception. An automated email will be sent to your email address as notification that your order has been delivered. Please kindly notify the receiver to collect from the reception area.

Curated with Love

Each gift box and hamper is individually hand wrapped per order. We pride ourselves in carefully curating beautiful gift baskets, adorned with satin ribbon, and finished off with our complimentary GiftLady card including your personal gift message.

Personal love and care are put into every hamper and gift box by our professionals, no matter the size or occasion.

Availability

Flowers: Due to weather conditions, seasonal availability, and variations in colours, florists may use their discretion to substitute within bouquets. These amendments will always be within the same price range. Our customer care agents will be in contact with you for large scale changes.

Hampers: We do our best to ensure all gifts are available throughout the year. However, from time to time this may not be possible. The GiftLady therefore reserves the right to substitute an item for another of similar value. Care has been taken to ensure that the description, prices and specification are correct on the website. However, while colour production is a close representation, a very slight variation in the actual goods may appear. The GiftLady reserves the right to alter the prices without prior notice.

Privacy Policy

We treat all information passed to us with the utmost care and respect, recognising the importance of protecting your privacy. All data entered on your Order Form may be stored and used for individual customer care, order processing, and on occasion we may contact you with information that may be of use to you regarding products, promotions or special offers. Please contact us should you not wish to receive such mailings by emailing us at giftlady@giftlady.net.

Returns/Damages Policy

We hope you are delighted with your order, however, if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, we will be happy to give you an exchange or refund within 7 working days. Should you wish to do this, please return your entire purchase to us within 7 working days of delivery, in its original condition.

Remember to ensure that your recipient’s dietary requirements are considered when placing your order.

Perishable goods including flowers, food, sweets and beverages cannot be returned/refunded unless damaged or incorrect.

In the event your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 working days via email with attached images of the defects/damages and your order number. We will arrange to collect the damaged products, and either send a replacement or arrange a refund.

Bulk/Corporate Services

As gifting specialists, we are happy to assist you with any bulk orders, corporate gifting, or personalization.

For corporate gifting and bulk orders with personalised items, large quantities, and/or special requests, stock will only be ordered once funds reflect within our account.
